Markers

Colours mean whatever this map says they mean. Pick a scheme and record it in a note so it outlives your memory of it.

Where your work lives

In this browser, on this machine, at this address — nowhere else. Clearing site data erases it. Switch on Autosave… to keep a live copy in a real file, and use Export for a snapshot you can move somewhere safe.

Calibration

Grid settings

Grid colour, opacity, coordinate labels and terrain tint do not affect calibration and are not tracked.

Notes from players

Paste what a player sent you. Approving adds the note to your map and marks it shared, so it appears the next time you export the player map. Denying discards it here — their own copy is untouched.

Server

The tool works entirely offline without this. Point it at your PocketBase instance to publish share links and sync campaigns. Leave blank to go back to local-only.

No password. Enter your email, then the code the server sends you.

Campaigns

A campaign stores the grid, the calibration anchor and every note on the server. This browser stays the working copy — pull to load, push to save.

Share link

A read-only player map, uploaded to your server. Anyone with the link can open it — no account needed. The link is unguessable; nothing lists it.
